2010 State of the Nation Address by President Benigno Aquino III (PNoy)

This afternoon, the Republic of the Philippines President Benigno “PNoy” Aquino III delivered his first State of the Nation Address (SONA) at the session hall of the House of Representatives in Quezon City. In his SONA, he discussed the budget deficit brought about by the previous administration. PNoy questioned these government transactions which served as the major roadblock to the efforts of the current administration.

PNoy assured us that the current administration will be pursuing to help improve the country by providing infrastructure projects that will be completed with little to no cost from the government. This is through the partnership of the public and the private sector.

PNoy promised to hold itself to a higher standard of transparency and accountability to eliminate the corruption.
